Green Lane - late 90s / early 2000s nuclear flask branch line

Hi everyone 

 

After a long break from modelling I’ve now returned with abit more patience and knowledge from when I was 15.

 

I am by no means an expert and I’m going to be learning a lot in the coming months especially as this will be my first DCC layout.

 

The Layout 

 

I’ve decided to build a small (ish) layout depicting a small nuclear flask loading facility at the end of a very over grown freight branch, with a small engineers sidings just slightly down from the Nuclear site roughly in the late 90s / early 2000s giving maximum operational interest with regards to locos and stock.

 

The layout will use Pecos new bullhead track and be fully DCC controlled, in time the locos appearing on the layout will include classes 08,20,31,33,37,60 and 66. 

 

I look forward in updating you all soon, for now while track is ordered I’ll leave you with a rough track plan and some inspiration.
