Being a bit on the frugal side and not being able to justify the expense of LGB or the likes, I have invested in a fair bit of Playmobil that has been rebuilt, butchered or at least repainted. After some soul searching I have concluded as much as I like making models and watching them run, I'm not really a shunter. So I am in the process of rebuilding to .. a) fit in a trampoline for the kids and B) have a continuous run with no sidings Im currently waiting for delivery of a few straights to finish the circuit off.
