RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted May 13, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 13, 2020 (edited) I chatted up a young lady who was a Clerical Assistant (civil service grade) in what was then the Railway Inspectorate on my way to Porthmadog in '69 to volunteer on the Festiniog (single f in those days) on a dmu from Shrewsbury to Machynlleth before it split.
