Class 50 resprays

I've just joined RM web and started a blog on the Virgin 87s but due to work on the house these have had to be put on hold. Thought I would share a rework of three NSE 50s back to large logo:This was the starting point:

 

 

The bodyshells had all the printed details removed and then the NSE stripes so a smooth coat of primer could be applied. As usual the doors on a 50 were playing hard to get so hence they had to come off....

 

Light primer coat applied and rubbed down to highlight any further "lumpy bits"

 

 

Then a second primer coat to the bodysides
