Leith Centrl
Building a small cement discharge terminal into a corner of my layout and looking to get a bulk powder tanker and cab (1980-92) for it. Have seen a kit for these but can't remember the manufacture/stockist if anyone can assist. Double or triaxle and a leyland cab to go with it would be perfect. Blue circle will be the eventual livery Thanks Tom. (Leith central station and works)
RMweb Gold Mick Bonwick Posted July 18, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 18, 2020 This bulk powder body might be a start for you: https://www.roadtransportimages.com/shop/product/p8-wheeler-15ton-bulk-powder-tank-body This may help, but I expect you've already accumulated your reference photographs. RMweb Gold Geep7 Posted July 19, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 19, 2020 With all the kit and r-t-r presflos and prestwins out there i'm surprised one of the die-cast vehicle manufacturers hasn't made one yet. Regarding the above photo, which chassis / cab combination is that? I'm tempted to say it's a Scammell?

jonhall
Blue Circle seemed to favour the Lelyand Bison then t45 roadtrain in this period, try https://www.na3t.org/road?search=blue+circle I felt the RTi tank looked a bit small for a 'modern' lorry, and was thinking of doing something with the base toys Roadtrain cab, cut down to a day cab.
