notlob
I have acquired a few old Jouef (SNCF) diesel loco's that are a pig to run. Does anybody have any advice on improving the electrical pickup arrangements, I have stripped the pickup bogie and cleaned the current assembly but it's still poor, motor runs fine if power added to the internal connections

Not easy to put pickups on the motored bogie. If your diesels are 67400, best option would be to find a cheap Roco 15000/7200/22200 and use the chassis from that.
