The above dropped through my letterbox this morning. At £8.99, it's very good value, with about 130 pages split about equally between photos (mainly good-quality colour) and informative text from a number of luminaries from the modelling and prototype world. These include Paul Wade, Terry Bendall, Hywel Thomas, Jim Smith-Wright, Mike Cubberley, Michael Hitchin, Alan Monk, Paul Bartlett, David Monk-Steel, Roger Silsbury, Tony Simms, Peter Tatlow, Bob Wallace, Trevor Mann, David Ratcliffe and Gareth Bayer.

There are descriptions of the majority of wagons available in 4mm, as well as detailed captions to the prototype photos. There are also rare photos of the short-lived 'Gulf Red' livery.

A good read for these long winter evenings, and plenty of inspiration for future projects.
