kandc_au
Hi everyone, I'm struggling to get the curved fretwork (?) that is between the doors under the windows on Clerestory coaches done. No, I don't have a silhoutte cutter. Been trying the Tamiya putty but doesn't appear to successful. Suggestions would be appreciated! For the record, I am modelling the late 30's period so most was still there. TIA Khris
K14
If you have access to a K & S Metals stockist, you could easily make a bespoke hole punch. The vertical dimension is 5" for the vast majority of GW coaches, so in 4mm that equates to 1.67mm, and in 7mm 2.91mm Nearest K & S tube to those are: 8125 = 1/16" OD 9821 = 3mm OD To make the mouldings, put a bevel on the inside of the tube & punch out two holes in 5 thou plastikard then connect them with a couple of scalpel cuts. Expect a lot of scrap mouldings Pete S. 1
