Guidance on the selection and use of colour in development

Recommended Posts

North Wessex Downs AONB has recently published a handy guide to colour selection. It's primary aim is building development/restoration, but might equally well be used by modellers interested in appropriate colour choices for buildings and landscapes.

Every colour shown in their guide has an NCS colour code underneath it. Appendix B on page 46 explains what the NCS system is and how it works.

Has anyone else used the NCS system before? It looks like an alternative to Pantone, but perhaps with more precision.  How might modellers convert those colours into pot paint combinations?
