Berkshire Steam
Just bought brand new Bachmann Class 40, D248 (DCC ready) locomotive for my layout. It has cab lights and directional head and tail lights. There is a switch on the bottom of the locomotive whereby you can turn on or turn off either cab or loco lights. I switched off the cab lights and left direction lights on. All well to begin with but suddenly, after a few days of running, the directional lights at one end plus its twin tail lights, failed to operate, but in one direction only. Travel in the opposite direction continued working. I took off the body and check to see if anything was amiss but all looked fine. Can anyone shed light on what has gone wrong here. I have other Bachmann diesels (mainly Class 42/43 Warships) and have had no problems. Thank you in advance. steveb860
If it's just been purchased, return it to retailer. Trying to resolve the issue yourself will probably invalidate the warranty
