Wayne Bridgman
i am having issues setting up 3 Lima Class 66 with Hornby TTS , they run fine with a standard decoder but with the TTS they either are crawling or off like a bolt no speed control . Any advise on the setting of motor algorithms would help out alot . thanks Wayne
RAF96
Make sure DC running is off in CV29. It should be by default on recent TTS decoders. Set CV150 to value 1. (Edit - this CV invokes different motor algorithms which can improve motor running.) Ensure CVs3 and 4 are set to value 15. Is the loco motor standard or has it been replaced by a CD/DVD motor, some of which can be 3v, normally 6v and occasionally 12v. The lower voltage motors tend to be on or off.
