Engine Sheds on BLTs - A revisit

There was a discussion of turntables for loco release onthe Minories thread beginning here.

 

Quite a well known example with a shed attached was Rothbury.

Also Alston, and Allendale Town.  Alston also had a shed, attached to the station overall roof.

Other ex-NER BLTs with both turntables and sheds (in more conventional positions) were Wearhead and Middleton-in-Teesdale.
