ianmianmianm
Hi all. I am currently modelling Portuguese metre gauge but trying to find out what the German WW1 reparations coaches were, and what models there may be available. Can anyone help? They could be either HOm or HOe models. 24 minutes in this video here:Â Â
RMweb Premium rekoboy Posted September 19, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 19, 2021 The Prussian State Railways had various standard metre-gauge or 750mm gauge carriages - similar ones to those in the film, but it is difficult to find an exact match. You could look at Tillig - www.tillig.com, or at Bemo - www.bemo-modellbahn.de or at PMT -Technomodell - www.pmt-modelle.de. Technomodell was, by the way, almost the only private producer of model railway equipment in the former GDR. They specialized in Saxon narrow gauge. When the owner, Herr Walter, passed away the firm was bought up by Profimodell Thyrow (PMT).
RMweb Premium Andy Kirkham Posted September 19, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 19, 2021 I can't answer your question but thank you for posting a link to that documentary, which I watched in it entirety. I imagine that life in the villages depicted has changed beyond recognition since 1982 when Portugal was still aspiring to join the EU.
