PECO LK 55 TURNTABLE

I hope someone out there can solve my  problem.

I have installed the turntable with the exit rails going to a 6 door engine shed, there is no room to move the shed or where the entry rail enters the turntable.

With the setup of the split rings, as per the instructions two  of my exit rails fall into the area of no power to the turntable.

I have rotated the split rings so that there is power to turntable at all rail positions, is this wrong?

The issue is that the train moves forward to the turntable, starts to enter the turntable and stops. I can push the train onto the turntable and it moves forward.  I rotate the turntable to the exit rail and again it starts to cross off the turntable and stops, again i can push the train off the turntable and the train will continue to move forward.  WHY?  My layout is DCC and the gaps in the rails and turntable are as the instructions.

Perhaps it may be better to hardwire the turntable rails to a cross over unit and then to the input rail.

Any help would appreciated.
