sncf231e
The Unique Art Manufacturing Company started to make lithographed toy trains in 1949; they made only a view items and stopped making trains in 1951. They made a steam outline locomotive in clockwork and electric; these had different lithography. Yesterday I found the electric version at a swapmeet and I already had the clockwork version. Here they are both running: Regards Fred Edited October 11, 2021 by sncf231e
Prometheus
Delightful! My club has a Marx O Gauge AC tinplate loco and two bogie coaches (with a third very easily repaired), and a suitcase of track, which it is trying to sell to raise funds. If I post photos later, would you be able to hazard a guess as to realistic value (in other words, we are not expecting thousands!) ? tony
sncf231e
Yes, I think I can guess a realistic value. Regards Fred
Prometheus
This is a shot of the loco Fred - to photo the rest I'll need to visit the club on Thursday. Tony Edited October 13, 2021 by Prometheus
Prometheus
This link goes to a current eBay auction. The club's set is the same, although in vastly better condition. Tony
