RMweb Premium dagrizz Posted November 15, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 15, 2021 I'm hoping for a pointer or two. We recently visited family in France and our 14 year old granddaughter has learned how to play chess at school, and after finding out I knew how to play I was challenged to a few games. Great fun but I was wondering if we could continue to play online. I play online Bridge regularly so I'd have thought playing chess online would be straightforward. Does anyone know of any affordable online chess sites that we could both join so we could play a few games? I'm not interested in playing anybody else or entering any sort of competition, just somewhere we can have a few private games of chess. Thanks in advance Graham
RMweb Premium Grovenor Posted November 15, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 15, 2021 (edited) Google turns up plenty of info, www.chess.com seems to be top of the list. No personal experience whatsoever. Edited November 15, 2021 by Grovenor
RMweb Premium Reorte Posted November 15, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 15, 2021 (edited) Signed up to chess.com a few years ago. Only used it to play my brother a few times and one random person once when I pressed the wrong button (and do the daily puzzles). It's free for that (there's a paid membership too, not sure what else that gets you). Edited November 15, 2021 by Reorte
