Please does anyone know where this film was filmed? It's Western Region, but I don't recognise the stations.

According to the caption..

This was filmed on a section of the old MSWJR line between Cheltenham and Andoversford Junction. In the film, the made up station name 'Aybury' was in fact Cheltenham Leckhampton and 'Beaton' is Andoversford

Standard signalling training to refer to stations consecutively as A, B & C.

Not the MSWJR though - although the MSWJR had running powers over it. It was part of the GWR Cheltenham-Kingham line. The MSWJR branched of this line at Andoversford.
