todeni
I am shortly about to start to build an Isinglas L.N.E.R sorting coach in "00" but an trying to think of a solution as to what to use as a net for the frame. Any ideas would be most welcome, I had thought about a "Hairnet" but think the mesh will be too big. Thanks Guys Ian H
Michael Hodgson
Have a look at lace curtain material - the mesh size varies quite a lot between different styles. Of course, they'll be the wrong colour, you'd have to dye it black.
LNERGE
I have to make some for my kit at some stage. I’ve not tried yet but one thought was to draw the net then place the frame on top. Next I plan to use some old airfix kit sprue heated up then stretched to produce plastic ‘strings’. These strings would be then laid over the frame and plan and secured. I did this years ago to make something similar. Watch out for fumes. It wasn’t particularly robust.
2750Papyrus
Might be worth looking at nets sold for aquarium use. Please post details of the build.

todeni
Hi People, Found an answer to the problem of the net on the Isinglass T.P.O. Got some 2mm netting used by our fellow marine modelers for fishing nets. Will post my efforts when I get my decals from Model Master.
