Weighbridge Office Equipment (GWR)

I am building an Intentio 7mm GWR weighbridge office kit and I would like to detail it internally, I guess there would be a desk and chair as well as maybe a filling cabinet but I am unable to find any pictures or details equipment in relation to the weighbridge itself, does anybody have any they could share or direct me to some on the web?

I assume there isn't anything on the other end of the bar as it is counter balanced by the balance weight on the black bar picture 1?

I’ve just built the same kit. If you search for images of “Pooley weighbridge machine” you’ll get lots of different styles.

I think the type appropriate for the railway weighbridge office is this one:

Machine in 1 is intact and has the calibration weight, while machine in 2 is derelict. Both are GW examples.

One thing I have noticed that has puzzled me is that a good percentage of weighing machines did not share the same centre line as the weighing table.  The amount of offset varies, some extreme ones being close to the corner of the table.

Does anyone know why?
