Simon Turner has been very quick off the mark to get photos onto his fotopic site of the Middleton 50th Anniversary Gala (part 1)

Sunday is day 2 of the gala and the weather is forecast to be very good.

 

You have a chance for this weekend to ride in the goods wagon and brake van as per the passenger services that were operated from late 1960's to early in the 1980's.

 

 

The main September gala is moving Middleton (Leeds) to Middleton (Manchester) well not quite as it will be a unique chance for you to see as many as possible Manchester Ship Canal (MSC) locos gathered together in one place for the first time in preservation history.
