modfather
Pleasant suprise Whilst perusing the 'net for room decorations, I came across this pleasant suprise, there's a fair few interesting pictures if you have time to kill looking through them. RMweb Gold The Stationmaster Posted June 20, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 20, 2010 Good link thanks. One thing which interests me is how they claim copyright on some of those pictures - several are Kenneth Leech original photos while others are Maurice Earley originals and have been long published inbooks etc, several more (which were never 'official' pictures) have been published as postcards from at least (in some cases) 4 different publishers while at leAs one is from a postcard which was definitely not published by the GWR. I also have more than idea that I have seen one of the pictures (originally published as a postcard) with the copyright claimed by the GWS - again it was published by more than one original publisher as a postcard. Most confusing.
Miss Prism
Quite right, Mike. I've seen 95% of those before. I hope Mediastorehouse has paid a good reproduction fee to the post-1930 picture copyright owners....
