Would wagons with these bogies have been restricted to the former lner area or under british railways would they be used wherever they wanted?

Just thinking about getting a few of the cambrian kits and as I am interested in the south Wales area I thought I'd ask the question.

They would have been in general use throughout BR. See Paul Bartlett's wagon photos website.

LMS 'diamond frame' bogies were fitted to Lot 2021, Dia. 470 Bobol D wagons B941000 - B941149

.

LNER 'diamond frame' bogies were fitted to Lot 23211, Dia 472 Bobol D wagons B941150 - B941349

.

A number may have found their way into Internal Use around Cardiff and Barry Docks

.

Later, B941149 at least became an ASW Internal User, MB423, and B941212 became ASW MB462.

Eventually when I build one, 1967-1973.

No problem they were well mixed by then. BR was short of Bogie bolsters during that period and 'did up' a lot of the stock - even what were considered to be old then from the later I920s (wagons last a lot longer now!)

Interesting, so possibly some of the gwr ones could be added to a rake?

Why not? They would only have been 25 -40 years old. These are Feltham in 1968 https://PaulBartlett.zenfolio.com/gwrbolster/e21bed996    https://PaulBartlett.zenfolio.com/gwrbolster/e3d9c68b9

And this is what I had in mind earlier when I mentioned they were being done up. A 1927 LMS Bogie bolster C which is in freight red (bauxite) (I have a colour photo) despite being unfitted with the full recently introduced boxed in lettering style. https://PaulBartlett.zenfolio.com/lmsbogiebolster/e295c4d4b  Don't overlook it is only 41 years old.
