Dean Sidings, Lydney

Hi, I have to visit Lydney tomorrow (Saturday) to collect a stationary engine, so I thought I'd visit Dean Sidings,

but I see in their advert in RM, they now only have a Box No and no telephone number. Do they still have a shop, or is it just mail order these days? City of Truro is at the Dean Forest Railway, so at least I should get to see that again, a couple of weeks after Winchcombe!

Kind regards,

Tony

Thanks for your replies!

I'll certainly contact him via the Box Number.

I managed to see City of Truro twice (once double headed with a pannier tank!) and spent a bit of time in the museum at Norchard, where they have a Lister Auto Truck on display. Stationary engines are another hobby of mine and I went to Lydney to collect an ex-GPO Villers generator of early sixties vintage. All in all, a good day - and it was mainly sunny for a change!

Kind regards,

Tony
