narrowman
Hi, I have to visit Lydney tomorrow (Saturday) to collect a stationary engine, so I thought I'd visit Dean Sidings, but I see in their advert in RM, they now only have a Box No and no telephone number. Do they still have a shop, or is it just mail order these days? City of Truro is at the Dean Forest Railway, so at least I should get to see that again, a couple of weeks after Winchcombe! Kind regards, Tony
Fenway Park
The Shop closed some years back and Dave now attends exhibitions or mail order. So contact him via the box number.
narrowman
Thanks for your replies! I'll certainly contact him via the Box Number. I managed to see City of Truro twice (once double headed with a pannier tank!) and spent a bit of time in the museum at Norchard, where they have a Lister Auto Truck on display. Stationary engines are another hobby of mine and I went to Lydney to collect an ex-GPO Villers generator of early sixties vintage. All in all, a good day - and it was mainly sunny for a change!
