sixteen 12by 10s
My new layout, a delve into the world of Colonel Stephens light railway, knackered locos and rusting corrugated iron, Clun Castle? The terminus of the Clun Valley light railway on the Shropshire hills, first instalment for “ Clun castle” starts with a Grainge and Hodder canopied board, with a bit of custom modification, thanks to Allen at G&H , and a little more customising from me. A cut out in the front of facia was produced for the control panel, this has a piece of 9 mill ply backing it for strength. The entrance to the fiddle yard was cut out of the end board, and the whole surface covered with a sheet of 5mm grey foamboard, note, the small piece of ply in front of the FY entrance, this is to give the track and something solid to sit on at the joint 12
Rob K
Nice. One of my all time favourite lines was the Clun Valley Tramway. Do you know it ? RM sometime around 1969
