Sourcing replacement drive wheels / gear for Bachmann Farish Class 40

Good afternoon all.

I recently purchased a used Bachmann Farish Class 40 (371-182) and sadly when servicing it I spotted a single tooth is missing from a gear on a drive wheel axle. It can cause some kangarooing and even jamming at slow speeds.

I've found various websites where I can buy a replacement gear, or even the axle and wheels too, but other than matching the number of teeth, wheel diameter and the look, I'm a little lost. I'm comfortable doing any fixes, I'm just unsure on the best source of the part.

Any recommendations?

Thank you.

Split gears plague older Farish diesels, and you're lucky it runs if there is one split.    You need replacement parts.

https://www.farishnspares.co.uk/

   and/or

https://www.petersspares.com/spares-graham-farish-spares.irc

   for the older stuff.

Newer items are direct from Bachmann-Farish.

Or if converting it to 2mm Finescale wheels (no use for N gauge), then the 2mm Scale Association parts.

If you're looking for N Gauge wheels try -

Or are you looking for replacement 2mm Finescale wheels?

Cheers,
