kevo Posted January 23, 2023 Share Posted January 23, 2023 Hi haveing not long ago brought a kit built o gauge J94 can any one offer me some advice on fitting a decoder to it i have hard wired decoders to locos before but this is the 1st loco i have come across that i think is a split frame pick up .and i am not really sure on how to make a start hope the pics show what i mean . or recomend any u tube links that may deal with this type of chassi . thank you Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
73c Posted January 23, 2023 Share Posted January 23, 2023 Looking at the photo's, the 3 plunger pick-up's each side pressing against the backs of the wheels I'm guessing are in a plastic case. Otherwise they'd short via the chassis spacer's. If so, then 3 one side to black, other side to red and the grey/orange to the motor as usual.
