Now back to our time slot at the end of the local school half term.

We pride ourselves on offering a small, intimate show, where we display layouts from the club, members and local friends. It is held in aid of York Against Cancer and is sponsored by Monk Bar Model shop. The charity supports the show by providing refreshments.

Apologies but no other shopping opportunities apart from a light lunch, cake and a drink from the York Against Cancer cafe.

Paul Bartlett - who will be way out of my personal zone operating 009 layout.

The 2nd hand shop is bursting with goodies (and we accept card payment) Including many kits - some historical. We have had some interesting discussions remembering BSL, Ian Kirk etc.

I went to the show today with my grandson. It was very good, hall packed with layouts rather than trade stands  made a nice change. Well attended and good refreshments at very low prices. We were there 2 hours and saw layouts I hadn't seen before.

Popped in today.  Excellent small show - exactly what you’d hope a traditional local “church hall” style model railway show should be.  What with this, the return of the main York show at Easter, and the N Gauge Society event at the NRM in May, I’m feeling quite spoilt!
