Northern trains

Hi

Does anyone know the colour for the blue on northern trains dmus/emus the blue/white livery.i have been looking I think humbrol midnight blue code 15 looks close but I could be wrong or is they a car spray can the same.

RAL 5022, Pantone 2748 Night Blue.  

 

Whether it matches Humbrol or Revell Midnight Blue is another matter of course.

Humbrol No. 15 Midnight Blue and Revell 32154 Night Blue are both RAL 5022 according to their colour charts.

 

Phoenix Precision P298 First Group Blue should also be RAL 5022 according to some information I have on a FirstGroup livery.  I have a tin of the latter and it looks right for Northern livery to my eyes as a regular passenger.

According to modelshade.com Humbrol 15 is a 3.5 star match to RAL 5022 while Revell 154 fares better at 5 stars.
