Joe 90
Is it me or is there a problem with the ukmodelshops.co.uk website as I can not seem to get on to it. I mostly use it to find out what model rail exhibitions are coming up as it seems to have a fairly comprehensive listing. Is there another wesite to use? Joe 90
How very peculiar. I can now access the site. Must have been a server fault. All is good. I thought I would have to play golf on saturdays instead of going to the shows. That has saved me a lot of money losing to my "friends". Thanks to everyone who replied. Joe 90
How peculiar yet again. I can't access the site again. Golf and poverty beckons.
Galtee More
I thought I would have to play golf on saturdays instead of going to the shows. Have to ? Good God man ! Get a grip or medication ! Tell 'em you can't, because you have to play trains ! Seriously, I see you've had further problems. Just been on to UK Model Shops site, no problems, straight in. Joe 90
Just an update. I still have problems with the website. If I leave the website alone for a few days it allows me on to it for about a minute or so and then 'locks' me out. I can only assume that it is an I.P. adddress problem of some form. In the meantime my golf has become worse and I am now on the breadline. I can't afford now to either play golf or attend any model train shows. This is a very sad state of affairs. noiseboy72
Might be worth checking you have not picked up a piece of malware that is trying to re-direct you to compromised sites. Connection issues are a symptom. Check your DNS settings as well. You might need to try mapping to a known good DNS instead of the default service offered through your ISP. Joe 90
I've run antivirus programs using deep scans but nothing is showing. Both my laptop and PC and also my mobile phone have the same problem accessing this site when using my wireless router. This is why I thought it might be an IP address problem on their server. It is only this site that I have any problem with. Oh well........not to worry .........a new hobby beckons, I suppose.............
torkardlane
Strange prob you've got, I have a similar prob with the sat maps on Google. Once I was able to slide around the views super quick now Its so blocky I give up. All other websites are super quick with no problems. If you find out what the cure is please tell, it may help me as well. Update on my little prob, have been using Google Chrome since November and have no problems. Joe 90
I don't know if this is a bit premature but............WhooHooo!!! Since the new year I have been able to access ukmodelshops.co.uk with no problem in being locked out of the site. I can now give up the golf and go to model railway shows again. Hurrah! P.S. I don't know if ANT has been able to get back on there with no problem.
