DCB
I see the Hornby Prince of Wales P2 has a six "pole" reluctor disc on its 2nd coupled axle. Is this for synchronised sound? Or just smoke. Is anyone (else) doing synchronised steam sound actually from the axle.
RMweb Premium Johan DC Posted September 5, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 5, 2023 All the newP2's have these, but as far as I can see, nothing to do with sound. It'll be for the steamgenerator version.

That's disappointing, but once he synchroniser is on there for smoke its a no brainer to link it to the sound.
RAF96
If it is there for chuffs of steam which is controlled by the decoder then obviously it will match chuffs with sound and steam.
