UK Rail Tours trip to WHR & FR 28th September 2023

I am on the above trip today. Nice sunny start from Euston but as soon as we got to Wales it started raining!

 

Hauled from Euston to Bangor by 67007

 

Hauled from Caernarfon by 87 seen here at Caernarfon.

 

Seen at Dinas.

 

Waunfawr station building with the driver and guard getting wet in the rain.

 

Having changed trains at Porthmadog we were hauled by Merddin Emrys to Blaenau Ffestiniog where this photo was taken.

 

I travelled in the rear observation coach on the Ffestiniog but the heavy rain meant many of the views were obscured.
