Nick Holliday
The current issue of the Ffestiniog Magazine has coverage of the Quirks & Curiosities Gala held over the May Weekend. Some weird and wonderful items turned up - a 2' gauge Landrover anyone? - and some of them are in the gallery here http://www.ffestiniograilway.co.uk/qc/ Sadly missing from there is the electric motored bogie from the Post Office Railway, dragging an open bogie wagon with the generator mounted on it - that would be a challenge in 4mm! AMJ
Aren't Launceston converting the motor bogies from the Post Office cars that used to be at Adrian Shooters Beeches Light Railway into a DEMU for the 2' gauge line?
Merfyn Jones
Aren't Launceston converting the motor bogies from the Post Office cars that used to be at Adrian Shooters Beeches Light Railway into a DEMU for the 2' gauge line? Yes it was one of the bogies from Launceston that was running at Porthmadog. It's on a new DVD produced by the Festiniog Rly. of the weekends event. Recomended. Merfyn.
