e30ftw
Hi all I have recently purchased two Trix EM1's from separate sellers and they both run on 2 rail DC however they run the opposite direction to which the controller is set. I.e left is right right is left. Any ideas why they would do this? I don't think they have been tampered with, and they are from separate sources so its not as if the same person has modified them , one has had extra pick ups fitted. roythebus1
If they have the Trix slipper type pickups they cam be swapped side-for side. they used the centre rail for return on their "run 3 trains on one track" idea. 1 from overhead, 2 from left rail, 3 from right rail! Otherwise take the magnet out of the motor, turn it upside down and refit it. :) 1
sagaguy
If they have the original p/up configuration for 2 rail, just turn one round.Don`t take the motor out,you won`t be able to mesh the gear properly. Ray 1
