Launcestow, a fictional location on the North Cornwall line on 6x4 baseboard.

I started this layout a few years ago, the only space being in our conservatory, not ideal I know! I've always been fascinated by the North Cornwall line from Halwill to Wadebridge which closed in 1966, I had a load of code 75 track left over that's as recovered from an old layout, when I had space!

This is the first time I've got beyond track laying and basic buildings so everything is trial and error, the station building was an old ABM railcraft kit that you can't get anymore, Launcestow is obviously a fictional town, taken from Launceston and Padstow and the layout is deliberately vague in era so that I can run 1960's stock or also 1980's stock as if the line hadn't closed.

Very much a work in progress!
