Deano
Hi all. I have some old Triang coaches that have been repainted but hold lots of sentimental value. The bogies have long disintegrated, so I wish to replace and get them up and running. Im recently returning to the hobby and haven’t a clue which bogies I need to get. Can anyone advise? Captain Slough
Hornby Mk1 bogies have a clip-fit thats compatible with the hole here Original Triang ones use a rivet, unless you happen upon the rare kit version, which has a brass nut & bolt 1
33C
Buy a job lot of Triang coaches on ebay. If yours are the ones that break down into sides, roof, interior and chassis/ends, just replace the whole chassis from those. A lot cheaper than buying individual bogies! (Just bought a lot of 6 that worked out at £1.86 each.) That way you don't have to fiddle about with mounting the bogies with rivets/bolts etc. 2 1 1
