Pantiles, or ridged tiles in 7mm scale - Recommendations please

I'm no expert on roof tiles so please feel free to correct my terminology.

I have a need to roof some 7mm scale Swiss buildings with tiles that have a 3-dimensional shape somewhat like Pantiles, ridged tiles or what seems to be called 'Double Roman'. Having spent an hour or so searching both this site and the rest of the internet, I've found surprisingly few options.

It's also quite difficult to judge products from photos online, and when they're quite expensive and abroad it's not quick or cheap to get a sample of each to try out.

So I thought I'd ask here and see if anyone had any recommendations.

 

This prototype building was built in 1983 with fairly modern style tiles; some of the older buildings were also re-roofed with these:

 

That building's predecessor had an older style of ridged tile which may be what I need for some other buildings. They're definitely not flat, but seem to have several smaller ridges per tile.

In fact they look rather like the tiles on the roof of my own outbuilding:

 

I think the key thing for me is that they look plausible and that the tiles aren't flat; ideally it would be nice to represent these different types.

 

The first thing that comes up in any search for 7mm scale pantiles is Slaters embossed plasticard, item 0440, which quite frankly looks dreadful!

 

 

Then there's a product by Redutex, a self-adhesive flexible sheet which may be fine in smaller scales but I have to say that this image on their website doesn't fill me with joy:

I've also found what seems to be a vacuum-formed plastic product from Schulcz. It's 1:50 scale which is pretty close to the 1:45 continental O scale, and the shape and surface look a lot better than the options above. They also do a choice of traditional pantiles or the more modern ridged tiles. This is my preferred option at present, I think.

There's also an option to buy a mould and cast my own. The disadvantage here is not just the faff of doing that and the difficulty of achieving bubble-free, flat sheets, but also the small mould size means that several would be needed to be butted up together even for a small roof:

Some years ago I found some plastic sheets of pantiles in R & R Hobbies in Swansea. I bought a couple of sheets on spec. Problem is: they are/were 4mm scale, and the shop closed during the Covid lockdowns. As far as I can recall they were unbranded? Unfortunately, they are the kind of product you discover by chance whilst rummaging through a box of random plastic building sheets.

I've had a quick look on eBay to see if there are any 'generic' products that might fit the bill, and I found a few which might be worth a punt, all direct from China
