Quadrille
When the loco' is stationary the sound can be switched on and off...when the loco' is running the sound can be switched on but...it can't be switched off without first returning the speed steps to zero (0) or stopping the loco'. The loco' itself is an excellent runner straight out of the box and I have since ordered two more, none-sound. That said, would it be possible to improve the sound quality...the volume is up from 128 to 180 and although the sound has improved slightly it still doesn't have the quality I would like..?? This loco' has now had at least five hours running and NO "waddle" whatsoever...Could the "waddle" be due to the sprung pick-up plungers..?? [The first loco' sound did exactly the same before the sound-decoder failed and the loco' was returned forthwith.]
Quadrille
1.) The answer to the question is: Reduce the speed slightly > press F1 (or Vice-Versa)...and then, after switching the sound Off, increase the speed ot what it was previously set to. So, is this a v5 decoder issue or a sound-programming issue..?? 2.) These models are Fungi to be with but there isn't Mushroom in them for a larger speaker!
