Trainsrgr8
Hi guys, i am looking into purchasing a fugifilm s1600. They seem to have pretty good reviews and the price is kind to my wallet Just wondering if there was anyone on here who uses / has used one and if you could tell me what you thought of it? The online reviews are ok but they don't tell me what it is like if i use it to photograph trains (which is what it will be for) Thanks Danny
steve22
Hi Danny, you've probably made your choice by now. Just seen your post today. I have its predecessor, the S1500 (for Christmas '09). Absolutely no regrets about opting for this camera and as the S1600 has slightly better spec it will be very good, I've no doubt. I've only recently taken several general railway shots and they were fine. I've yet to delve into the manual features but the S1500 / S1600 is a very creative camera at a very good price. Have a look at owners' examples on the Fuji website, if you haven't done so already, there's some very nice shots on view. Steve.
