Mike Boucher
Hi folks, A friend of mine sent me these links. Here's a "travelogue", shot from the back of an Amtrak train, traveling from Philadelphia, PA to Pittsburgh, PA showing things of interest along the way. Lots of shots of signal bridges. Few shots of going around Horseshoe curve. Also some interesting photos of interlocking points and the Johnstown, Latrobe and Greensburg stations. Plus some photos of the "dead line" at Altoona works. Part 1 is Philadelphia to Harrisburg http://www.subchat.c...d.asp?Id=911182 Part 2 is Harrisburg to Altoona http://www.subchat.c...d.asp?Id=913713 Part 3 is Altoona to Pittsburg. http://www.subchat.c...d.asp?Id=922847 Have fun!
