Advice on techniques to remove transfer lining film

Hi,

 

I'm about to paint a unit white, and then apply various decals from Scale Model Transfers using micro set/sol solutions. However, I'm conscious that after time (with a white background) the clear transfer lining film will become even more apparent. Has anyone got any advice on how to remove the clear lining film so that the decal remains undisturbed please?

Hi Thomas,

 

Using a new scalpel blade cut the decal from the sheet next to the design leaving the clear film on the sheet.
