Polar Star Posted August 13, 2010 Share Posted August 13, 2010 Please Find below details regarding Basingstoke and North Hants Model Railway Society's Club Open Day Saturday 18th of September 10 Am till 4 Pm Scout Hall, Stratton Park, Basingstoke, RG22 5HN The venue is situated off and is signposted from Pack Lane, Kempshott. Admission is £1.50 for adults, concessions are free. This is an opportunity to come and see what the club and its members are currently doing and to see club and members layouts in operation and to talk to members. There will be approximately 8 layouts on display with club stand, some trade support and demonstrations. Light refreshments only will be available on the day. Polar Star Posted September 9, 2010 Author Share Posted September 9, 2010 Update For Basingstoke and North Hants MRS Open Day, 18th September There will be 3 Layouts from the club: Stratton St George (4mm) SE 28 (4mm) Lulworth (4mm) There will also be 5 layouts from club members - these layouts are a mixture of finished and under construction layouts. Ropley - a 4mm model under construction of the station on the Mid Hants A DCC Layout - 4mm modern image Two small 4mm layouts built for children Forest of Dean - A 7mm layout built to Scale 7 Standards There will be two traders in attendance There is a Demonstration from The Weatherman showing weathering techniques.
