I remember as a kid seeing such layouts in a catalogue and wanting one!

 

I'm surprised to see that the surplus flock is just left to fall on the floor. I'd have thought they'd have some clever recycling system so surplus flock gets carried forward to the next ready-glued layout surface in the production line...
