narrowman
I hope to get there tomorrow, as I've got to be in Barnsley to pick up an off-roading tubular bumper for my Toyota Surf charity eco-expedition vehicle (see www.overlandtravel.org.uk), so I should have a bit of spare time to call in and take some pics, which I'll post on Monday. RANGERS
Paid a flying visit yesterday on route to Hull, not a bad show but disappointed it didn't quite measure up to the high standard of a previous visit (2006 or 7, can't remember which) Layouts seemed to be outnumbered by trade and prices were pretty high although did pick up a couple of bargains. One display of note was nothing to do with trains, a superb collection of road vehicles in 4mm which was modelled to a very high standard.
narrowman
Just a few "snaps" taken at Barnsley MRC Exhibition, yesterday. 1. Blackhawk House 0n30 2. Port William N gauge 3. Redwood Lumber 0n30 4. Finnigan's Crossing TT9 5. Butley O gauge I returned to North Wales vis Penistone and took a couple of pics there: Interesting area, the track laying leaves a lot to be desired - Hornby 1st curves and bad alignment! More narrow gauge pics on my website: www.narrowgaugemodelling.com PS: I've dried out now... Narrowman
