Just starting my first serious foray into railway modeling having done the Hornby Dublo stuff 55 years ago (hence the oldrocker bit ! ) Can't claim credit for the trilby however - that's Count Arthur Strong. There's lots of very talented modellers contributing here, and to my mind RM Web is better than the monthlies - you get the facts, and they are tempered with a lot of humour and humanity. And occasionally you get the odd surprise when you find out that there's a lot of expertise outside of modelling as well. Pop inot W&S for the non railway stuff to see what I mean.
