Having chanced on this title when rooting around on the net following an interesting question here about the undercroft columns, I now have it in my hands.

 

Only able to have a quick look at it, but it is a superb job, copiously illustrated with drawings and photos summarising the environs and historical development of the structure, and the work recently completed in very great detail. This is one I am going to be referring to very often. Those who saw the television feature shown a year or so past wil remember the passionate investment in the project of the chief architect, Mr Lansley; here he gets to tell the story.
