Can anyone advise if this bogie van/CCT manf; by Lima is based on an actual BR prototype?

The data panel reads;

Length: 42'-0"

Width: 9'-0"

Height: 13'-0"

tare: 14-0t

Load: 8tons evenly distributed

Running No. M37926

The closest vehcile I can find is the GW Monster Van on Paul Bartlett BR Wagons site http://gallery6801.fotopic.net/p8401427.html

It's not actually a bad model other than the bogies which as Baby Deltic says can be changed for Bachmann ones.

I've seen a really excellent model of this CCT with a plethora of MJT parts and a new paint job. Perhaps Coach has some information on the real thing, or I'm guessing modelled one too!

Hi Paul,

Many thanks for the direct link to the page on your excellent site.

I must have overlooked it when I was searching for info/photos of the vehicle.
