Leander
I feel suitably ashamed but, in my defence, would put it down to a 'senior moment'. The website address is, of course, shown on the attached Exhibition Flyer.
Leander
One change to report - Dapol have pulled out (traders list in post no. 1 edited). However I'm very hopeful of booking another N gauge D&E era layout and a replacement trader, although NOT a like-for-like replacement.

Leander
My reason for posting, as Exhibition Manager of Rochdale MRG, is that a decision has been made to shift the Rochdale exhibition dates after next February's exhibition. The next show, following on from February 2011 will therefore be on the 5th & 6th November 2011. The idea will be that the Rochdale exhibition will take place on the first weekend with a November date in it. By doing this we intend to avoid clashing with any other important northern shows. Indeed our major motivation in changing the date has been to avoid clashing with the Stafford exhibition, as our research tells us that a significant number of would-be Rochdale attendees are opting to go to Stafford. We should also avoid any inclement weather which has been a feature of early February for the past few years. I realise that there are a number of shows in the autumn period but feel that our choice of date should prevent us clashing with any significant others. In particular, it is our wish to avoid a clash with the Leeds and Hull exhibitions. I have been somewhat hesitant in posting this as we do not want any seeds of uncertainty regarding the date of the show to be planted in the minds of the exhibition going public which might harm the attendance at our February show. Leander
Four weeks to go and the Exhibition Guide is now being put together, having overcome a major problem with Office 2007 on my home PC. Office 2010 now installed with thanks going to the techies at work for their assistance. We have a policy of adding value by including the Guide in the admission price. Reasons of space preclude the inclusion of Hall plans but I try to include as many track plans as possible within the 8 page A5 size format.
Andy C
Anyone would have thought we were organising Wigan show last night at the club room - we spent more time debating how many pies we needed for the exhibitors lunches than we did modelling - although I did manage to convert 6 Bachman wagons to EM whilst the Pavlov's dog effect was going on
