Grant Newhouse
Well, i'be been fighting with a stubborn chassis for about 2 mounths now and have finally given up. I dont want to buy a new one as the troublesome one cost 75$CAD. The problem is is that it keeps shorting out on me. It did work. I know it did. ive takes the thing apart, re assembled it many times and am stumped. Im woundering if anyone has any ideas, or experiance with the Bachmann ( usa ) 0-6-0 chassis. Thanks Grant
relaxinghobby
Did you put the wheel sets back in the right way round, are they insulated on one side or both? I am only familiar with the 00 Bachmann chassis, can you discribe how they build their n gauge ones.
009matt
Has the clear plastic motor surround broken?
Grant Newhouse
thanks, ended up being that the bottom contact pad had gotten bent out of shape and was touching the other side of the chassis. Bachman n chassis, or at least the ones im uses to are slit frame with small open can moters with the plastic moter covers. Split frame chassis can be a pain some times
