The Freightliner wagons used (FJB- basically the standard late 1960s wagon, but with drawgear at both ends) already had vac-pipes, so the modification was basically running a steam pipe along them. I wonder if there was a TOPS code for steam-piped wagons.... The pool of wagons was pretty small- three, if I remember correctly- so it wasn't a huge undertaking.
