Matt Posted December 4, 2010 Share Posted December 4, 2010 All, May be a bit of specific question for here but I am in the process of modelling Greenhill Lower Junction in central Scotland and am trying to finalise track plans. From numerous reference photographs I can see that the track layout has been simplified over the years from a double junction with diamond crossing etc to a facing crossover & double points arrangement - the former definately existing into mid 80s and the latter is definately the case in early 00s but does anybody out there able to narrow down the date when this change actually took place? My layout will be set in 1990 and am trying to ascertain which arrangement to go with and it will also determine the state of the ballast etc (freshly laid or not). Appreciate any help or guidance...
